A blog filled with wit and sarcasm...aaah...refreshing. Translates into "Emily doesn't like pepperoni"...or so said my mom. At least she tried to, anyway. Welcome to the circus.

this and that

I've started getting caught up in what's not important and it's just not good. Time to get out of this funk. I keep seeing this ad for North Dakota tourism on tv (apparently ND appeals to us Wisconsinites??)...I'm getting there, huh?? Friday, Friday, Friday! I get to go home and I'm so beyond thrilled. Not that running away from where I am right now is the solution to the funk, but it will be good to be home (finally!!), be in small town familiarity under the stars. Ahh, here I come. YAY. In all reality, I do believe we go back "home" (wherever or with whomever that home may be) to remember why it deserves that special label AND to be gently reminded why we are where we are right now. If that makes any sense at all.

Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart
and try to love the questions themselves.
Don't search for the answers,
which could not be given to you now,
because you would not be able to live them.
And the point is, to live everything.
Live the questions now.
Perhaps then, someday far in the future,
you will gradually, without even noticing it,
live your way into the answer. -Rainer Maria Rilke

I'm also working on my patience. And being okay with things the way they are.
